Alone

I wish that it was me who was with you
Instead of the man who is there
He can gift you with physical touch
While I only have my heart to share

He can take you on crosscountry jaunts
And give you a thrilling Harley ride
But the thought of his proximity haunts
Me... and causes a chill deep inside

I want to take you for a ride of my own
Not on a bike but with fingers and such
And I promise you tingles unknown
As you thrill to my lingering touch

If we were alone now I would kiss you
Every inch of your soft tawny flesh
A thousand busses for each time I've missed you
In accompaniment to my fevered caress

I know I would find you quite dazzling too
In your presence there would be no calm
For the moment I saw you I would ravish you
I could never maintain my aplomb

But alas it is he who is with you for now
But as of Saturday he soon will be gone
And come his departure if you will allow
I'll return as your knight bowing to dawn
