I found you today in my chambers
Someplace you're not supposed to be
I caught you red-handed
As you rifled the files in my office
I don't know how you bypassed security
Avoiding my keen surveillance
Somehow you breached my defenses
And penetrated to my core
I thought that I had installed
The latest in high-tech protection
The locks I employed were formidable
Intended to keep everyone out
Yet somehow you managed to sneak
Surreptitiously inside my walls
You must be practiced at covert skills
To approach undetected as you did
There have been few here before you
Those who did attempt to spy
Were all arrested for that crime
Before they could cause much damage
But you have achieved a feat
Most would have thought unattainable
I am as astounded as they must be
To discover you here now
You made copies of every private memo
You're now privy to my innermost thoughts
I'd consider this corporate espionage
If it were documents and not my heart you'd stolen
